This is a painting I created of a Boeing 747 landing in the winter. During my years in aviation I continually searched for aviation art that I could display in my living room, and I traveled to many countries but never found anything that truly pleased me, so I decided to give it a shot and try painting myself, and here's what I came up with on canvas.
My friends and colleagues expressed interest in acquiring some of my paintings, and this is how I started selling them. Eventually I had enough that I could open a website: www.artedavinci.com
Although I never had any formal training in oil painting, I have been drawing since I was little, and my cartoons were published in the magazine of the Air Line Pilots Association and other industry publications many years.
